About Jetpack Dash
Jetpack Dash is an original endless side-scrolling arcade flyer built as a single self-contained HTML5 canvas game. You pilot a jetpack hero through a procedurally generated industrial corridor that scrolls right and steadily speeds up. Everything is one button: hold to thrust upward, release to fall. The challenge is reading the gaps between rotating laser beams, timing your altitude to slip through the moving gaps in electric barriers, and dodging missiles that scream in from the right edge. Coins are scattered in tempting arcs that often dare you toward danger. All art is drawn live with Canvas (parallax stars, a scrolling city skyline, rivet-textured walls, thrust particles, and a tilting pilot), and all sound is synthesized with the Web Audio API, so there are no external assets. Your best distance and lifetime coin tally are saved locally between sessions.
How to play Jetpack Dash
Hold the mouse button, tap and hold the screen, or hold the Space bar to fire your jetpack and climb. Let go to let gravity pull you back down. Steer between the hazards: stay clear of the glowing laser zappers, fly through the gap in each electric barrier, and dodge the missiles that warn with a red arrow before launching. Fly over coins to collect them. Touching any hazard, the floor, or the ceiling ends the run instantly. Your score is your distance in meters plus the coins you grab, and the corridor gets faster the longer you last, so survive as long as you can and beat your best distance.

Tips & tricks
- Tap in short bursts instead of holding the thrust down. Tiny pulses let you hover at a steady height, which is far easier to control than long climbs and dives.
- Read barriers early. Move to line up with the moving gap before the barrier reaches you rather than reacting at the last second.
- When a red warning arrow flashes on the right, a missile is about to fire along that line. Shift your altitude away from it immediately.
- Skip coins that sit right next to a zapper or in a tight gap. Distance keeps climbing on its own, so survival is worth more than a risky pickup.
- Speed ramps up the longer you survive, so stay centered in open stretches to give yourself room to react when the corridor gets fast.
