A top-down drift racing time-trial. Slide your car through a flowing closed circuit, nail every checkpoint, and chase the fastest lap and total time you can muster.
Drift Track is a single-screen, top-down time-trial built around arcade drift physics. You pilot a nimble car around a hand-tuned closed circuit drawn entirely on a Canvas, with a banked centerline, glowing kerbs, a checkered start/finish line, and pulsing checkpoint gates. The handling model splits your velocity into forward thrust and lateral slide: lift, brake, and steer and the back end breaks loose so you can power-slide through the corners while the engine note rises and skid marks streak the tarmac behind you. Stray off the road and the grip drops away, the car bogs down, and dust kicks up, so keeping all four wheels on the asphalt is its own reward. There is no opponent to bump into and no clutter to memorize: just you, three timed laps, and the clock. Your best lap and best total time are saved locally, turning every session into a duel against your former self. It runs fully offline with synthesized audio and no downloads, plays identically on phone and desktop, and the on-screen pads make it just as comfortable to thumb around as it is to keyboard.
Press Play (or any key/tap) to leave the looping demo and start a fresh three-lap race. Accelerate to build speed, then brake or back off the throttle as you enter a corner and steer into it so the car drifts around the apex instead of plowing straight on. You must pass through every cyan checkpoint gate in order; they stop you from cutting corners. Each time you sweep back across the checkered start/finish line after clearing all gates, a lap is banked and its time is recorded. Complete all three laps to finish. Keep the car on the dark tarmac, since the grass slows you dramatically. Your fastest single lap and your best overall total are stored and shown at the top so you always have a target to beat.
Keyboard: Up or W to accelerate, Down or S to brake and reverse, Left/Right or A/D to steer, R to restart the race, M to mute. Touch: use the on-screen GAS and BRAKE buttons on the right and the left/right steer arrows on the lower left. A mute button sits in the top-right corner. Any key, tap, or the Play button starts a real game.
