About Color Echo
Color Echo is a memory-and-rhythm game built around four glowing pads, each with its own color, symbol, and musical tone. Every round the game adds one more flash to the sequence, then hands the pattern back to you to repeat from memory. The tempo quietly creeps faster as your run climbs, so a chain that felt comfortable at round five turns into a real test of focus by round fifteen. Switch on Strict mode when you want zero margin for error, chase a new best round, and let your ears do as much of the work as your eyes.
How to play Color Echo
Watch the pads light up and listen to their tones, then tap them back in the exact same order. Each round adds one more step and a little more speed; a single wrong pad ends your run (or restarts it instantly in Strict mode). Your longest correct sequence is saved as your best round.

Mouse/touch: tap the four pads. Keyboard: Q (green triangle), W (red square), A (blue circle), S (yellow star) — or use 1-4, or Arrow keys (Up/Right/Left/Down). Enter starts a new game, R replays the current pattern, X toggles Strict mode, M mutes.
Tips & tricks
- Hum or say the tones as they play — pitch is often easier to recall than color, and each pad has a fixed note.
- Don't rush your echo: the clock only matters during playback, so deliberate taps beat panicked ones.
- Chunk long sequences into groups of three or four, the way you'd remember a phone number.
- Use Replay pattern (R) early on to lock in a tricky sequence before it grows even longer.
- Save Strict mode for when you want a pure score run — in normal mode a mistake just ends the round so you can study where you slipped.
